Pedro has over 36 years of experience in operations, supply chain strategy, and ERP implementation and execution, and has implemented complex optimization processes. Most recently, Pedro implemented the centralization of key production planning, scheduling, and raw material replenishment processes for 50+ manufacturing facilities, and 145 distribution centers across North America. The benefits contributed to significant improvements in service level performance, inventory reduction, on-time delivery performance, and network delivered cost reductions.
Pedro recently retired from USG Corporation where he held the position of Vice President, Global Supply Chain. His responsibilities included Logistics, Transportation, and Strategic Sourcing functions for the corporation. He held a variety of management and supply chain positions throughout his career. As plant manager, he managed facilities across the U.S., and was responsible for the start up of the largest wallboard manufacturing facility in North America at Aliquippa, PA. He entered the corporate SCM function to lead the development and implementation of ERP supply chain processes across all North American facilities as part of a transformational project impacting Finance, HR, Operations, and Supply Chain, and subsequently owning the execution of the new SCM processes. He has collaborated with numerous supply chain providers, and consulting firms to drive increased effectiveness and efficiencies.
