I like helping groups of people solve technically challenging, high-value business problems, and operating effectively as a team.
My background includes over 20 years of deep technology experience across consulting, large corporate, startup and middle-market private equity environments. I’ve been fortunate to hold critical roles across all areas of IT: If it happens in an IT shop of any size, I’ve probably done it.
I enjoy contributing in whatever ways keep teams moving forward together. At any given time, you might find me: leading a complex, strategic IT delivery; leading development of an IT strategy; coordinating PMO processes; designing an architecture; reviewing critical, low-level code; tuning an algorithm; designing and rolling out IT operational processes; or creating presentation materials for the next board update.
I’m most grateful for the opportunities to work with great people and the relationships that have developed naturally as a result. The details of any project fade, but the relationships live on.
I live in Chicago, IL with my wife and two children. Most of my free time is spent on the tennis court or hockey rink, or at one of his kids’ softball, baseball, basketball, or hockey games.
